Q: Can I pause or freeze my membership?
At this time, memberships are continuous and cannot be paused. If you have special circumstances, please contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Q: What happens if I don’t use all my monthly hours?
Unused hours do not roll over to the following month.
Q: Do I need prior pottery experience to join?
Yes — our memberships are designed for individuals with basic pottery skills.
If you’ve taken a 4–6 week course or have prior studio experience, you are welcome to apply!
Q: How do extra studio hours work?
Members can purchase additional studio time beyond their monthly membership hours at $11/hour.
Extra hours must be used during supervised open studio hours – refer to the studio calendar.
Payment for extra hours is billed monthly based on actual usage.
Q: What clay can I use?
Only Cone 6 clay purchased from the studio is permitted. Members who wish to use outside clay must request special permission in advance and provide proof of the clay type. Any damage caused to studio equipment (including kilns, shelves, or other surfaces) due to the use of incorrect or unsuitable clay will be the responsibility of the member, and repair or replacement costs will be billed accordingly.
Q: Is there a minimum commitment?
You may choose a 1-month or 3-month membership.
The 3-month option offers additional benefits and better value!
Q: Can I bring a friend?
3-month memberships include one guest pass per quarter (3 hours).
Guests must be accompanied at all times.
