La cabane à poterie is a south shore studio founded by three creative partners — Marlyn, Mélodie, and Wendy. Spanning three generations and bringing together diverse life experiences, their collaboration is built on shared purpose and creativity. Together, they’re shaping La cabane à poterie into a welcoming space where community and inspiration meet.
Marlyn Birmingham
Marlyn Birmingham is a multidisciplinary artist and entrepreneur based in La Prairie, Quebec. With a background in digital media and a passion for community spaces, she is one of the co-founders of La Cabane à Poterie, a creative pottery studio in the heart of the historic village.
Mélodie Duchemin-Dorion
Mélodie is a multidisciplinary artist, always in search of sensitive and tangible forms of expression. Through pottery, she finds a balance between grounding, freedom, and connection.
Wendy Bishop
Wendy's love of light and form began while studying fine art at Vancouver’s Emily Carr. The beauty of the natural world is ever present in her handcrafted objects. She is both an art director and a fine artist.
